Kearney School District is celebrating a well-deserved honor for one of our outstanding educators.

Kearney High School Agricultural Education Teacher and FFA Advisor Erica Hart has been named a Golden Owl Semifinalist for Missouri FFA Sponsor of the Year. A representative from the Missouri FFA recently visited KHS to recognize Erica and present her with a backpack and a $150 award in celebration of this statewide distinction.

To the left of Mrs. Hart in the photo is Hannah (Doty) Nowack, a 2014 Kearney High School graduate, founding chapter member, and a member of the first KHS FFA Board. We love seeing the way Kearney FFA continues to connect students and alumni across generations.
