School Board Showcases Client Connected Projects at KHS

Posted Date: 9/25/25 (7:54 PM)

The Kearney School District Board of Education learned about the world-class Real World Learning (RWL) opportunities available for Kearney High School students through Client Connected Projects. Principal Andy Gustafason and KSD Career Readiness Coordinator, along with three students and a teacher, share information and experiences with these projects during the School Board's business meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the central office. In Client Connected Projects, students team up with a local business or organization to help solve a real problem. They use what they’ve learned in class, build professional skills, and create solutions that benefit both the client and the community. It’s also a leadership experience they can list on a resume or highlight in interviews. Watch the meeting livestream to view the entire presentation.
