Aug. 25, 2023, Kearney, Mo.: The Kearney High School football season is almost here. Bulldog Stadium will soon be abuzz with support from students, staff, families and community members!
The Bulldogs open their season at home on Friday, Aug. 25, against Platte County. Due to the predicted heat advisories, the stadium gates will not open until 7 p.m. and kickoff will be at 8 p.m. Please stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water!
In order to ensure the safety of our Bulldog family, we’re still following the guidelines from last year for our home game entry procedures:
- Students in preschool through fifth grade must be accompanied by their parent or guardian in order to enter the stadium.
- Students in grades 6-12* will be required to present their student IDs. Last year’s IDs will work. Students in grades 9-12 with KSD-issued IDs get free entry to all home sports activities.
- Students in grades 8-12 are expected to sit in our student sections or the hill area. Younger students are expected to sit with their parents or the hill area.

*Sixth-graders who do not yet have their district-issued IDs will be allowed to enter the stadium if they tell the ticket takers that they are in middle school.
